slow room service intrusive wedding music
the location was fine though it felt a bit removed.
The room service was unbelievably slow. I ordered a sandwich and waited over an hour for its arrival, it seems like they forgot my order entirely. the noise from the nearby wedding was intrusive, i could hear music well into the night. It disrupted my sleep, a real nuisance considering the price paid.

Really good Stay, Lovely Details!

christmas party opulent decor friendly staff resident peacock
The Christmas party was held in the stables. The party included excellent food, a wonderful show, and dancing until 1 AM! I found opulent decor and warmth from the staff. We walked around the grounds and saw Colin, the resident Peacock and the highland cows.
The room felt a bit overcrowded with furniture. Much of the furniture seemed unusable adding clutter rather than contributing to luxury. Lighting in certain areas was insufficient.
Dining
10/10
Afternoon tea was delicious and presented beautifully! Breakfast featured perfectly cooked eggs benedict. The homemade potato scones are to die for, and the Rhubarb restaurant offered a superb dinner.
Rooms
9/10
Our room was very well appointed. The bathroom was luxurious! Complimentary fruit, chocolates. still and sparkling water added to our delight! The opulent room created a nice experience.
Location
10/10
The grounds are lovely, also very well kept. The hotel offered a peaceful setting close to the city. It felt special to see Highland cows so close to the city center.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel features themed public rooms and cosy sitting rooms! Real fires added to the ambiance. I explored the hotel and appreciated the beautiful romantic decor all over the hotel.
Service
10/10
The staff were attentive, friendly, and polite! Marilee, Lewis, and Lucas quickly resolved a minor hiccup with our order.
